How to choose the right toothbrush

How to choose the right toothbrush

These toothbrush tips can help to keep your teeth in shape
Brushing your teeth regularly is the key to maintaining healthy teeth and gums and preventing gum diseases, but it's also important to make sure you choose the right toothbrush for your teeth and use proper brushing techniques. Aesthetic dentist Dr Karishma Jaradi says, "Done correctly, brushing your teeth at least twice a day, in the morning and in the evening before going to bed, for at least three minutes can help ensure long-term dental health." She suggests the following tips...
* Choose a toothbrush that has bristles that are softer rather than harder.
* Make sure it fits your mouth size. If you have a small mouth, choose a small toothbrush and if you have a large mouth, pick a large toothbrush.
* Toothbrush which is easy to use, whether it's a powered or a manual toothbrush.
* Inexpensive toothbrushes often lose their bristles after a few uses. This can be bothersome and also not provide the best teeth cleaning experience.
* Some toothbrushes are designed to be held at an angle, and others are not. When choosing for a toothbrush, one should make sure he knows how to use the brush effectively.
* Toothbrushes come in varying sizes in order to make them comfortable to hold. Toothbrushes that are either too big or too small might not effectively reach all areas of the teeth, mouth and gums
* Once you've found an appropriate toothbrush for you, you need to brush your teeth the correct way in order to maintain good oral health and keep gum disease at bay.
