Getting down with cold is the worst thing that can happen to anyone. Yes, it just take seven days to get rid of cold with or without medicines but the continuous sneezing, blocked nose, heavy head, blocked ears, takes a toll on us. 1. Plenty of liquids rich in Vitamin C: Vitamin C is a great way to fight common cold, and what better way to start your day by gulping down fresh juices that's enriched with Vitamin C and is also a healthy option.
2. Ginger Tea: Hot, steamy and energizing ginger tea! Masala tea or ginger tea is a great way to open up the sore throat. The ginger lessens inflammation of mucous membranes that line the nasal passages and the sinus cavity, and this inflammation contributes greatly to the buildup of pressure and congestion, which helps to open the congestion.
